Mrs. Klitzke and I are pleased to bring this offering to the Florence School. Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been rather popular in its first year at the Florence School. The program is open to students 7-12. We meet weekly once a week on Wednesday morning. One of those weeks we offer breakfast for all those in attendance. Each month we like to have a big event as well. Last year, we had a tailgate party after a football game, painted pumpkins with the elementary students, baked cookies for the hospital, police station, and fire department, handed out gift cards to customers at Hyvee, and went on trips to the movie theater in Watertown and a Canaries game in Sioux Falls. As people became more educated on our mission, we began to see a rise in participation. We hope to continue that trend.
