About Our School

The Florence School District prides itself on a rich tradition, as well as a vision for continued growth and success. Our school is comprised of approximately 300 students Preschool-12th Grade. Our school serves various communities around the area and strives to meet the needs of all students. The District consists of an elementary school (grades PreSchool-5), a middle school (grades 6-8), and a high school (grades 9-12). The Florence School District utilizes Northeast Technical High School in Watertown, which provides career and technical education to our juniors and seniors. This compliments our classes that we offer in house at Florence. Over the years, our involvement in post-secondary options has increased as well. Students throughout the year are taking classes at universities around the state gaining college credits.

The Florence School is very proud of its programs it offers its students as well. At each level, programs and activities are offered to enrich the educational process for our students. We encourage students to get involved in what we have to offer, as we strongly believe it will benefit each student.

Without great students and committed staff, we would not be able to find the same amount of success. Through relationships and support, the Florence School District helps students to meet their goals and find success. We could not provide the resources to our students without the generosity and support of our community.

If you have any questions about our district, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.
